Any ice on Piseco yet...

Any fishable ice on Piseco? I'm hoping for some info as there is none on the ice conditions page and I'm almost 3 hrs. away.

I drove by on Rt 8 today and didn’t look good looking through the outlet.

There was a shanty off of the 3rd campsite this afternoon. There's open water in spots still... Apparently they have nothing to lose.

No but there was fishing at first campsite several people out there

Eastern end of the lake had at least 8" of good ice on Sunday.  Shanty is out.  Caught a lot of lakers  between Saturday and Sunday, but the biggest one was only 20.5". Good luck, be safe.

Thinking of heading up tomorrow. Should i bring the snowmobile? or not enough ice? Thanks

I personally was riding all around on the east end and towed my shanty out with wheeler and snowmobile hooked together.  I would never tell you yes or no, but only to use sound judgment and common sense.  There was fisherman using wheelers from the first campsite (poplar point)over the weekend.  Good Luck!!

I was on the south end of the lake Sunday and there was one or two snowmobiles out. Ice was good.
