Wenger...haven't you learned? If I tell you that there are elk in the forest, there is going to be an uproar and feelings will get hurt. For my safety and the safety of others, the only elk hunting advice I can give you is to drive to the end of the road, then start walking. But please, if you see any wildlife, keep it to yourself.

I would describe them as well marbled, not fat. ::) Geese...calling them fat would be mean. Except for the one they call "Big Boned Bobby" now he is FAT! ::)

You guys. LOL. Making fun of a poor guy that was working all through hunting season and is eating dog food just to have fresh tasting meat.
Poor me. Got any GPS coordinates for the herd? Asking for a friend.

Seriously tho, looking for a shoulder season hunt. Contrary to Tinker bells comment, I was working and missed all hunting seasons. If anyone has a legit hunt, I would sincerely appreciate it.

Need some snow to get them eating hay bales, then the ranchers will be screaming for guys to hunt.
But I’d try the 71 Ranch across from the school section just west of Martinsdale! ;D Oh crap, I just got in trouble I bet!

Usually have a couple spots open up. I have my nephew get me to the spot and I use my track chair to hunt from. area.

I heard there is an elk herd on Martinsdale reservoir. I bet those ones are tasty! I think they are feeding on the fat trout. ;D
