multi-hook presentation
« on: Mar 30, 2006, 09:56 AM »
Has anyone out there used an effective multi-hook line? Say a hook about a foot away from the other....one with waxworm and one with a minnow or something like that. All the things I've tried in the past just produce a big tangled mess of the line/hook wrapping around itself. A picture would be great if possible. Thanks.

put the heavier jig below the lighter one. helps to keep it all straight. you can run a whole bunch this way.

They don't fit through a 6" hole very well when you have two fish on. Trust me.
A dropper-rig is much more effective.

I put a 5 inch leader invisa-leader with a second hook on the bottom of my first lure. I bait the first hook with a minnow and the bottom hook with a chunk of steak meat. I'm able to bounce the hook up and down and make it look like the minnow is feeding on the meat. If the fish are hitting good on the minnow and can then change the second bait over to a minnow also and lift it a little higher. Drives the fish crazy
