Darn cold!

But what a day!  My father and I iced 15 trout today!  12 bows and 3 lakers. I caught a nice 22 1/2" laker that if I HAD my camera, I would have beat myself out of first place! Oh well! I even took quite a few bows on a jig'n rap. There have been 43 trout iced by people out of my shanty since the first of the year!  If I can get a 50 fish month next month and the month after................. Man what a way to start the season!

Well i thought i had a trout or salmon on today since i had my tip ups set up high  for salmon and what to my surprise came out of the hole

a   pickeral      booooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo

oh well it was fun anyway.

You eastern guys can send some of that cold back out west for us.We are supposed to reach 57 degrees for a high today in central Wyoming!!!At this rate the 18" of ice we have wont last very long.Got a tournement next weekend and i think i"ll take my chest waders just in case.
