                 Good morning Steve, ER's,
It's 40* and cloudy here on my hill, the snow we had on the ground yesterday morning was gone by mid afternoon. ::)
                             Welcome Light liner.
Bud........I can't believe at an RV show there wasn't any coffee to be found. I bet you were pissed when you found out you left yours at home. :%$#!:
Capt.Jim....I wonder what other screw ups are made at that lab, that's scary. :cookoo: I have the same problem as Ellie, it takes a while to
find the right position in my chair, my bed or anywhere else. It's the fact that gravity puts pressure on the should joint and makes it uncomfortable. :o
Steve.......I hope your temps remain for a while, the grass will green up nicely and flowers will bloom.
I-45.........The best to you with the up coming surgery! :flex:
Eddie......  How was the wedding and if you stopped at the casino are you a millionaire.  ???
Old Goat....How are you coming with your recovery. ???
Wally.........I hope every thing goes the way you want for your trip.
Yesterday turned out to be a nice day a high of 54*, my wife and I played Yahtzee I won all six games on the card.
She made a great Turkey soup that we had for dinner, there is enough left for at least 2 more meals. :flex:
I hope everyone has a good Sunday either at work or out.

Good Morning Everyone, 37* here and supposed to be 66*here today. My wife is working today as a extra day so she can take a few days off after the surgery. Pain has diminished slightly with the extra meds.

IFF, I hope your day is better today. I know i’m Cranky without coffee in the morning.

Capt Jim, I hope your wife starts feeling more comfortable soon. It’s amazing how labs can make mistakes with all the paperwork they make people fill out. Are you back to taking the metformin?

Tom Turkey, Yesterday was a nice day to wash the car. It’s amazing how work benches draw stuff to it.

UF Creel, I hope your other half’s wrist feels better soon. Hope the crappie and walleye are still cooperative about being caught.

Mason Eddie, Hopefully the roads were better when you left for the wedding and that you had a good time.

Whopper Stopper, Hope you enjoy season 14 of the Deadliest Catch. Did you get it off Amazon. My wife has told me no more dvds.

Hunts2long, I hope you had a good night at the bowling league.

I hope everyone has a good day and a safe one.

45 - No, not yet, have to wait for the blood test results to get to the Urologist & he stamps approval on it, if results are not good, it's back to other Dr. to change diabetic med.
Now is the time for all good men and women to engage in the sport of ice fishing

Good Morning Everyone

50 heading into the 60's later today, with rain around the noon hour. Looks like a wild week of weather in the coming week, with a shot at some major snow midweek

45 glad your wife will be able to be with you after your surgery. Yep, the s-i-l got Deadliest catch off of Amazon. It's the entire season for $14. They are currently in season 15 but that hasn't been released yet.

I am being called for wiper blade detail so I will try and stop back later.

Hello again everyone another nice day outside light winds should reach seventy for high temperature . similar forecast for tomorrow with chance of rain in afternoon evening then dropping back to highs in the fifties.
IFF forgot to answer your question about gas prices they are averaging $2.55 for 87 octane regular in my town. I did see a couple gas stations at 42.47 and in traveling to other parts of my and a neighboring county this past week saw some stations charging $2.73. like others I'm surprised there was not vendor/vendors at the RV show selling beverages.
Wallyworld I'll see what I can do about sending some warm air up your way. You and Mr.WW pace yourself with blocking the fire wood so neither of you has to many sore muscles tomorrow.
Ice wanderer your mention of turkey soup is bringing back memories of my dad he always made soup from the left over turkey. I should purchase my self the Yahtzee game only have electric hand held version that is getting worn out form several years of usage.
Icefisher-45 glad the pain medication change is helping you out good your wife will be home with you after the surgery.
Capt.Jim be sure to mention the paperwork mix up to your urologist.
Whopper Stopper may the weather guessers be off on the forecast for your area.
Eddie guess after taking care of your canine buddies this morning you may have went back to bed for a while before starting day's activities and might post later today. i saw on the news the owner of limo company involved in last years accident was indited on twenty counts each of two criminal charges.

A safe and good Sunday to everyone. Best to all fishing.

Good Morning Everyone,
51* with light rain falling, high of 69 today with some scattered thunder showers expected throughout the day.

Steve...you just about got it 100%, lol. Got home about 1:30am, let the dogs out and then again at 5:30, back to bed until 9, and then spent the day outside spring cleaning...whooped.   ;D.  Have been keeping up with the Limo crash, here’s a story from our local paper you might find interesting on the owner and father of the son who is facing charges.   https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Who-is-FBI-informant-Shahed-Hussain-13351511.php
Marv...changing out the wiper blades is one of the few things that we can still do without having special equipment or tools....maybe I spoke too soon, not sure about the newer models, lol.
I-45...only one more day to go, glad to read the pains have been under control and your wife will be with you after surgery. Hang in there, only one more day to go!
Wally...very nice time at the wedding, left a few dollars at the Casino so I could go back to get it at another time.  ;D Hope the wood stocking went well and no sore muscles for you and Mr.WW today.
Jeff...the snow was all gone here as well by the time I left for the wedding early Saturday afternoon. Nice job on the Yahtzee, was there a rematch? Hope your shoulder is feeling a little better today Sir.
Capt.Jim...it amazes me how screw ups like what happened to you can occur this day in age, unbelievable! Best wishes sent your way with a good outcome today, sure am glad not to be the one facing you this am. Good luck!
Tom...a few of my coworkers over the years raved on how good the Chitlins were, not sure they’d be on my list either.  ;D. Is your lake ice free now?

The wedding was very nice, I ended up going alone unfortunately, as my wife ran into an emergency babysitting job for our grandchildren. Both ceremony and reception were at the same place which it made it nice. Very old restored 5 story building with the oldest operating Otis elevator in the US we were told. Gentleman told us it had hemp ropes instead of steel cables originally to go up and down....imagine that?
Didn’t spend much time at the casino afterwards, it was mobbed and difficult to get a seat. Played Let It Ride for about an hour, cashed out with a $40 loss....didn’t break the bank, or make enough to take today off....time for 40 more hours again, Doh!      Cawfee’s on....
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

               Good morning Eddie, ER's,
it's 40* out with light rain, we had .12" since it started. Should help melt some snow. ???
Eddie........It's too bad that your wife couldn't make the wedding, but family first.  Yesterday we played Yahtzee again I was up
               4 game to 2. :flex:
Marv.........A friend swears by the "Farmers Almanac" and he claims a major snow is coming.
I-45..........It's nice that the company your wife works for lets her put in the extra time so she can take a couple of days off after your surgery.
Wally.........Did you and Mr. WW get a load of wood delivered to block up? ???
Capt.Jim....I hope you get some satisfaction when you speak to a supervisor at the blood lab.
Not much going on today, just going to hang low, i have an appointment of Thursday with the diabetic clinic, I  should have good results.

Good morning Eddie, IW! Good morning everyone

42 heading to the mid 50's later today. All systems are go for a winter blast heading here Wednesday-Thursday. It's going to be  mix of rain and snow so it all depends when the rain ends and the snow starts as to how much we will get. The TV is already saying to plan for closed schools on Thursday.

Eddie glad you had a good time at the wedding. Dang casinos, I was pulling for you to get a big win :%$#!:

IW that old "Farmers Almanac" Has a lot of followers. Amazing how close it is a lot of the time ???

WW hope your wood working went well  I have a bunch of it looking at me as soon as I figure I am ready.

Yesterdays wiper blade went well, I made out better that the s-i-l, as the blade cost $33 :cookoo: I asked the guy if he was good at putting them on and he said "heck yeah" ;D He had it on in about 15 seconds.

Today the wife has off on a very rare day off. Her office is doing a lot of remodeling and today carpet goes in so they were told to stay home. She is excited to be able to spend the day with me and yes, she has a list of things for us to do ???

Hope you all have an excellent day  Stay safe.

5O* and headed to the mid 60's. All down hill after today with some possible snow after Marv gets done with it. He can have it all.

marv I had the guy where I bought the wife's new blades put them on. I had to wire the ones on that I put on my van. They had the simple J hooks to hold them but the worthless plastic would not keep them on.

The schools here have had so many snow days they in trouble. They are allowed 9 total snow days, a lot are up to 15 so the kids will have an extended year due to having to make them up.

Capt jim Good luck getting things straightened up with your blood test. I had to go to the radiology department when my MRI results seemed to be lost. I spent almost an hour with the head of the department while she had them looked for. They were in my doctors office. GRRR My doctor knew I needed them. I was able to tell the department head how badly I was treated when I had the MRI done. She said it was not the first complaint she had about the gal that did the MRI. I was run in before I could get comfortable and went through pain till the first scan was done. The gal was not happy when I told her I had to reposition as she had to reset the MRI.

Eddie All of our casinos are run by the Native Americans. I only lose enough to buy one moccasin and I am out the door. Most times it only take a few minutes. It is to bad your wife could not go to the wedding with you but helping out the family comes first.

I got the other vehicle cleaned up yesterday. My hip was killing me but another Norco helped that. I need to find another hip specialist as the one my wife uses always blames every issue I have on my back. Heis good but very arrogant. I may contact the guy in the same office that did my feet to see who he recommends.

Morning all,

IF45......almost there   thoughts & prayers will be with you tomorrow  ;)

IW.....no delivery here, we cut & drag our own logs in late summer from our wood lot behind the house  ;)2  the logs sit on a landing just out of the woods until spring then we block, split and throw it in piles until the ground dries up then haul it to the lean to behind the garage where we stack it  :flex:  guess you're the king of yahtzee

Eddie.....sorry to hear MrsEddie couldn't make the trip with you  :(  glad you had a nice time tho   the casino is about 5 miles from my house & I've only been there maybe a dozen times for different shows, not much of a gambler   :nono:  think I may have spent $100 total on slots  :-\

WS.....sure hope you end up with more rain than snow this week  ::)   the weather channel models don't look too good for you or IFF or TT  :'(  sounds like your s-i-l has solid gold wiper blades  :o  MrWW's Silverado is the same way  :cookoo: wouldn't mind the $$$ if the blades lasted more than a year  >:(

TT.....fingers crossed the snow doesn't make it to you  @)  hope the hip is feeling better today

Got the bike loaded in the trailer    leaving mid day tomorrow, still not sure where we'll end up, can't keep up with the ever changing forecast

Have a good day at work or play. Stay safe.

Good Evening, good evening

We had filtered sunshine today, high got to the mid 60's, rain for tomorrow

Mrs. W.W. - Have fun on the trip

T.T. - Yep, time for a new hip Dr.

W.S. - How is the wife's eye doing?

45 - No metformin as of yet, will be calling Urologist tomorrow(Tuesday) a.m. for test results

Mason, I.W., Clean - When I called the lab this a.m., the administrator said she would look into it, but because it happened on the weekend, it would take a day or two to
get some answers, different staff, not the week day girls, I'm not holding much hope, but , at least I 'pinched' some one into noticing there was a problem, time will tell

Oh, if I didn't mention it before, let me announce that I will be a Capt. Grandpa for a second time by the end of the month, D.I.L. (Suzy) will be having a Daughter soon, more
on this as it develops, Son Andrew is out of the Navy in San Diego, they moved to Sacramento, He has a job doing the same electrical work from the Navy in a Civilian job
making well over 30 dollars an hour, a trip out west is in the making

Capt Jim. How are your blood sugars running with out taking metformin? If you do not some action from the lab I administrator soon, Throw Hippa at her. I am sure that mistake would be covered by it as is could be a violation of your privacy rights.
Congratulations on the upcoming addition of a grand daughter to spoil.

By the way it sounds the snow guessed for late tomorrow should be pretty much north of us. I did see that there is a chance of sow this week end. Even if it does I need to go over to the other place to get some things done out side.

Good Morning Everyone,
46* and calm this am, high of 52 today with some rain this afternoon. Took a ride by my local lake yesterday, should be wide open by the days end.

I-45...you’ve had a long wait for this day, best wishes on today’s surgery. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
Steve...no major emergency, thankfully.   Starting to see some green appearing here, slowly but surely.
Tom...best of luck with your hip.
Capt.Jim....CONGRATULA TIONS to you Ellie, that’s wonderful news!!
Bud...possibly out of alignment? Hope the snow is on the minimal end.
Wally...the bike looks beautiful! Wishing you and Mr.WW safe travels and great weather. Like the no special destination in mind approach...that’s awesome!
Marv...hope you and Jo enjoyed your day, and not too much on the list. like Bud, hope the snow is on the minimal end...had enough of that stuff this year out there.
Jeff...imagine LG must be shot by now....any of the other lakes still holding ice up your way?  Best wishes with your appointment Thursday.

With the hammer crew again this am....stopping for a few casts on the way home if the rain isn’t too bad. Water temps should be rising with this weather, maybe today I can hook into one of those elusive stream trout, lol.
Will check in at break to see how everyone is doing....Cawfee’s on!

Good morning gang,

45, best of luck today sir! We are all pulling for you!

IW, hope you're healing up well. Have fun with Carson

Eddie, good luck finding some hungry ones today ;D

WW, have a great and safe trip. Enjoy  :)

WS, TT, and IFF... hope you all manage to avoid any more shoveling this year. Hope the rain/snow line works in your favor

Capt. Grandpa, congrats on the impending arrival of another new bundle!

Not much new to report on this end. Little league and softball are in full swing so that has us all running 4 nights a week. On an exciting note, my older daughter was on her school's 5th grade Mathalon team and they competed against 6 other local schools on Saturday doing hard math problems that are several years ahead of typical 5th grade math and her team won first place! Definitely a proud couple parents around here  ;D our Kindergartener is really getting the hang of reading right now and it has "clicked" with her. We are, of course, super proud of her also!

Hope everyone has a great day. Good luck and stay safe!

Good morning everyone

41 climbing into the 50's later today. All the talk is about the incoming snow storm. As it sits we should be on the edge with 6" high winds expected. West 100 miles 50-60mph winds with severe blizzard warnings and 12+ inches of snow expected. South 100 miles should see mostly rain. Bud you were 100% on your consensus of our forecast, but that's the crap we hear all the time, very irritating trying to make plans based on their weather guessing :cookoo:

45 Prayers and best wishes sent your way Sir

WW safe travels to you and Mr WW on your upcoming trip. I hope the weather holds for you and the trip is problem free.

Capt.Jim...Congratulat ions to you and Ellie, that’s excellent news!!

Eddie good luck pitching a few this afternoon

IW enjoy the day with little Carson  The weather cat seems quiet ???

I am off for my spring hair pruning in a few minutes, I was due to get it yesterday. When driving there I smelled gas so I checked the trunk when I arrived. I forgot I had my chainsaw and that's what I smelled. However I heard a loud air leaking sound so I started checking the tires, sure enough the rear passenger tire had picked up a good sized piece of metal :%$#!: I told my lady I was going to have to cancel because I didn't want to have to change the tire when I was done with the clip. I busted home added some air then took off to the tire place where I bought the tires and warranty.

When I was 3 miles to destination I pulled into a gas station to get some air, just to find it wasn't working. I drove across the street on a near flat just to find out their air was out of order also :%$#!: So off to a flat spot and time to dig out the jack and spare, which I was happy to experience no other problems. The tire place said my tire was shot so they put on a brand new one which was free of charge. When I got home my wife was waiting and we had a very enjoyable day

Hope you all have an excellent day  Stay safe.

40  and foggy this morning. Lake came up about a foot yesterday. Most of the snow is gone in the yard but lots in the woods yet.
Ice-45 will be thinking of you and your operation. Good luck.
WW, hope you find some sun along your ride. Have seen a few bikes out here.
Capt. Jim, congrats on the up-coming arrival.
DFF, sounds like the kids are doing well, both in sports and in the classroom.

Wife had Dr's appt yesterday with her local doctor who she sees once a year. She was in the office for over 3 hours. Most of which she spent, waiting for one thing or another. She was tired when she got home. Some days it doesn't take much.
Have a good day and be safe....h2l

Temp is down to 41* this morning. Waiting to see what we get out of WS's bomb cyclone. Snow guessed  for Wednesday and Thursday. Figures as I have to go to the city both days.

I am waiting for a call back from the dermatoligist I saw last week. She left a message while we were gone that I needed some thing else done. I am guessing that one of the biopsies showed up some thing. Guessing that the one might be cancer. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. I will have him perscribe a blood test to show if I have cancer in my body to see if what they found is a false positive. Edit I got a call back.the gal said asmall spot came back as skin cancer. They are refuring me to a plastic surgeon to get it take off.

The ice has been off of the lake for quite a while. There are a few boats at docks but I have not seen any one fishing yet.

I went to the Assn. meeting last night. The secratary was actually taking notes. Good thing she was as I had a print out of her duties as secratary. I asked where the profit and loss statements were on the website. One of the board members had the secretary pull one up on her phone. When I got up to look she would not keep scrolling side ways. When I asked her to scroll back to the start she took forever to to go back to the start. I guess she did not want me to see that it was from last summer.  None since!!!The other board member tried to throw me out of the meeting because name is not on the deed. I shot him down on that as I am on the trust for the property making me legal. he is that guy that sent the wife a nasty email one time casuing her to tell the board to shove it.

DFF It sound like you have a couple kids to be proud of. That all comes back to their up bringing.

WS I was surpized when I had to use of those pimps at a gas station a whle back. They had to have 1.50.   If I had been at my friends place it is free air. He does that as  the people running the dunes let air out of their tires to get around on the sand. That get him a lot of customers in his store.

Sorry for the typos. If I try to correct one it erases what I have already typed and have to type every ting all over again. These stiff old fingers do not like typing in the first place.

Good Morning Everyone,
41* and windy here this am, high of 45 today. We had some thunderstorms come through yesterday afternoon with some pounding rain for awhile.

I-45...fingers crossed everything went well with your surgery yesterday. In my thoughts and prayers Sir!
Bud...ouch on the estimate! Not sure of the year and type of vehicle...guess the big question is, is it worth putting the $$ into? Best of luck to you on your decision and hope the blizzard conditions stay west of you, dang!
Wally...hope your road trip started out well yesterday! Hope we get an update at some point where your travels lead to...enjoy the sunny South!
Tom...so sorry to read about the skin cancer showing up...please keep us posted on the update. That Association board sounds like they need an investigation to me Tom.
H2...did you get hit with those thunderstorms up your way yesterday? Imagine the snow melt and rain has got the river running pretty good now. Best wishes continued for your wife, she’s been through a lot.
Marv...man, what a day you had with the tire! Glad you noticed it when you did and all was covered, good deal.   Best of luck with that blizzard today, it sounds to be ugly...hope the power isn’t effected.
DFF...CONGRATULATIONS to your daughter and her team on their first place finish, outstanding!!     Best of luck with the teams this season...great job on the parenting!
Jeff...hope you and your wife had a great day with Carson yesterday!    I was wondering if anyone had made it back out on LG...glad to read your buddy only got wet feet coming off.      Hope today’s appointment goes well.

No fishing for me yesterday, took a pass with the off and on rains that were falling. Have the pole and gear at ready in my truck if the itch happens on my way home today.   ;D
Got the word yesterday we’ll be outside on marble work again by the end of the month...should be decent weather by then, although you never know what will happen in NY!   Cawfee’s on...
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

                   Good morning Eddie, ER's,
It's 31 with some wind here on my hill. ::)
Eddie........It's always a good idea to keep a pole in your truck, you just never know when the time a rises that you see a nice
stream you want to wet a line in. :flex:
Marv........Oh the weather cat has been a PIA, every morning he goes in and out about 4 to 5 time while I'm trying to type this
post. He's out now! Good deal getting a new tire for free.
Bud.........I'm with Eddie on this one about being worth it to put that much in to your vehicle. ???
I-45........I hope your surgery was a success, was it day surgery? ???
Tom........Sorry to hear about the skin problem, may that they caught it in time to not be a major issue.
Wally......Where did you make it to on your first day of travel, I hope you find a sunny destination.
DFF........ X2 on your daughters team to finish first.

Good morning Eddie, IW! Good morning everyone

30 degrees climbing into the 40s with rain starting around noon. The snow and wind are still on the agenda but it appears we may not get our fair share of snow ??? Places just west of us could get up to 20" and north a foot. We should get in on 6" but like everyone else winds in excess of 50mph are expected. By next week it should all be melted.

45 hope the morning finds you good spirits, prayers sent that you can finally get some relief

Eddie I bet weather permitting it will feel good to get outside for work. Like IW said you will probably have to pack a rod and take the fishing an hour here, an hour there. Hope you and the crew have a good "Hump Day"

IW I could use a good weather cat here. We used to watch the chickens to get a read on the incoming weather, or watch the white oak leaves. I swear both were more accurate.

WW hope the day brings you the roar of an engine, with sunshine and beautiful scenery

Bud talk about an Ouch :%$#!: That's a healthy estimate.

TT we have some of the slot machine air hoses here, but many places went back to the free air. Of course if the dang things don't work it can be free X2 and you still have nothing ;D

I am off to Menard"s in a bit. I am going to get some grass seed and patch a couple of areas. I want to take advantage of the wet weather and snow blanket we will be getting.

I heard from the old "Green Horn" from work yesterday. The second day back and he clipped the end of his finger off with the chainsaw. It doesn't take much sometimes to gain a new respect.

Hope you all have an excellent day  Stay safe!

Morning all,

Made it as far as VA yesterday thru torrential downpours, thunderstorms and some mighty big hail on the way :o glad the bike was in the trailer and not under our butts lol !!!
Looks like NC will be the destination due to it being the only rain free area thru Friday that I can find.
Trees and flowers are in bloom down here, sure is nice to see signs of spring!!!
Have a good day at work or play. Stay safe.

UPP early for an appointment with my doctor. The spot that was diagnosed as skin cancer has been their  forever. A few months ago he tried to freeze it but it did not go away. I am thinking of asking him to have a blood test that shows if you have cancer in your body taken. Since it has been their and has not grown I am not too concerned. I did break the vein that is right near the surface open on my face last night. Some thing is going to be done about it. So much for getting old.

ww Watch out for turkeys on your biking travels. A man in Michigan got hit in the chest by a flying turkey. It knocked him off of his bike. He hit a guard rail severing his leg. He died in the hospital. Hope you find some warm dry weather to enjoy some time on the bike.

They have Blessing of the Bikes every spring in Baldwin Michigan. Thousands and thousands of bikes show up. I was behind a group of Harleys one time matching their speed when I hear a roar along side me. It was a crotch rocket. He popped a wheelie once he was passed the Harleys riding that way down the center line for at least half mile. I do not know if I would have stopped if he had crashed.

IFF I would go get another estimate. A friend that has a car repair place hired a guy to manage the shop. The guy almost destroyed the business buy going way over his estimates. Always finding some thing else.

30 and cloudy this morning.
WW, hope the trip is off to a good start. I am sure you will find some warmer weather and who knows thing may be starting to green up by the time you get home. Have fun and be safe.
Eddie, we got some of the storm but it wasn't like I saw on the news last night. I saw some trees down, heavy rain and hail but for all I know it could have been some old tapes they had saved up. Lake has come up over 2 feet since Monday and the river is running pretty good. Still ice and snow can be seen in the woods but I did get the last of the ice off my deck yesterday It only gets sun early in the day.

IW, you are on a "roll" with those dice.

Ice-45, hope all is going well, thinking of you.

Hope everyone has a good day....h2l

I see WW, TT and IFF posted while I was posting.

IFF good luck with the truck repairs. I doesn't take them long to find 2 or 3k of work to be done.
TT, hope all goes well.
WW, flowers and a Spring shower, you are headed in the right direction. h2l
