Has anyone heard when trout stocking will begin ? would like to get some early open water fishin in.

Comet was stocked to the gills this year and I have not heard a whole lot of salmon or trout coming out of there!  Should be great opne water!   ;D

Central Mass stocking is coming up soon!  Will let you know...

They suppose to start tthe south shore this week.

as soon as there is open water on comet i will be there! i wanted to get out on it one more time but never got a chance. im leaving for disney next monday so i am figuring i will be doing some open water the day i get back  ;D
just five more minutes!!! i swear there is one chasing that shiner right now!

im only gone for 8 days. but im hopeing there will be some places i can fish. i have started looking for places that i know will have some open water. i know in gardner at dunns pond the end at rte 101 where the water comes in is starting to open up. it may even be fishable by the weekend. if not it will deffinatly be when i get back. i dont expect to be out on comet for a while.

Words has it that Ashland Reservoir, Lake Cochituate,Walden and Massapoag will be or already has been stocked this week. Walden definitely has been stocked.
