took kid out Best Day Ever!!

Took the kids out yesterday and has The best day on the ice. no fighting /bickering,no legs into an 8'' hole in -10 degrees. It could not have been better. jigged all day got loads of big crappie and giant gills. My 7 y/o son mastered the Vex, and my 10 y/o daughter Crappie Queen outfished me and my son without the Vex!!  And the bite was very light and they fished independently Crappie Queen even unhooked her own fish!!  heres a few pics from the day.

Forgot, one problem...SPF 50 to face and ears of both kids, missed the back of my boy's neck, holy smokes!!! he is really a redneck now. And i got in a bit of trouble with the Mrs.

actually she wasn't all that upset, but man do I feel like CRAP. It really hurts him and i'm upset w myself. I slathered them both up and myself with the sun screen. just never thought of the back of the neck. next time I'm gonna dip them in a vat of SPF 100. He has no regrets though, and they are both itching to get back out.maybe next Sat if still safe.

Actually, i am not worried @ all about you guys here recognizing my spot...but the lurkers, and the guessers on other sites...lost a great spot 2 yrs ago, will never make that mistake again. I respect all you guys . thats why I like to post here.
