Brian "Bro" Brosdahl Dead stick rod Thoughts?
« on: Dec 14, 2011, 07:55 PM »
Tossing around the idea of maybe picking up a new deadstick rod this year.. Mainly for walleye and perch, I like the action of the rod it seems like it would be a good setup. Just trying to get some feedback... Anybody use one last season, how did it work for yah?

I got two of em from reeds the combos and I used em deadsticking minnows for crappies they were awesome. the tip was light that it would quiver with the minnow action but the rod stays stiff enough to ensure a solid hook set on what ever happens to hit and at I think I paid 40 bucks each for the combo with the frabil bro reels I cant complain like them alot and hopefully if we get ice here in ny anytime soon I will be able to put them to use again.
