Seal Skinz Gloves

My wife just bought me a pair of gloves from Cabelas. Their called Seal Skinz their a cloth/elastic glove that is completely water proof, but their not rubber. They fit great but have not used them yet. Has anyone used these before? How do they work out on the ice?

I like mine. They are really warm because they keep your hands dry. They are a little awkward. You won't be baiting a small hook with them on but for most jobs they work well. I use them to clean slush and ice out of the hole.

I have a pair and wouldn't buy another.  My hands get cold in them very quickly cause when they get wet they lose their insulation value quickly.  I would much rather wear mittens and taking them off and have a way of warming my hands (jon-e warmer, latern etc) with the mittens off. Just my 2 cents. jeff

jon-e warmers use lighter fluid and i think the smell of that stuff getting on your bait could result in not many fish. what do you guys think?
