Here's the best thing going right now.   They have tested it with 100lb braid at 4000 cuts.   You can attach it to your fishing rod, wear it like a ring, or even one of your shanty poles.

They work awesome.

I use nail clippers on braid. Just requires some tension from either end while cutting. I also only use 6-10# test.

It doesn't matter how sharp your cutters are - your doing it wrong. A Bic would be my second choice, first choice would be a too from Berkley. It melts the line fuzzing the ends so they don't unravel.

The lit end of a cigarette works well for me.
