Interior ice?
« on: Apr 20, 2017, 03:31 PM »
Anyone have any updates on more remote interior lakes? George? Koole? Trying to get out for a late season overnight on sleds - don't have the time to drive to Louise which was my preferred spot. Other suggestions? Might just have to stay home and put window screens up...fishing would be better! How is Harding holding up?

There was probably around 30" last Saturday when I pulled my hardside.  It didn't look too bad, and the guy with me was debating taking his pickup out.  I'm going to try to get back out there in the next few days.

Ended up doing spring stuff around the house...bummer. Will have to wait until next year for some arctic oven camping and ice fishing!

Sure don't miss that job of taking off the screens and putting the storm Windows on and caulking them. Hope you can find some ice.
