Yeah, Camofish is a decent fisherman.....BUT, his younger brother is really much better!!!!  Good thing for you he doesn't icefish, cause he'd really show you up......HAHAHAHA.

Yea, and he don't have a wife and kids, HAHAHA.....If I had time to fish when and where I wanted too, I would be kill'n them too....If I only got out the same amount as him, but only getting out no more than 20% of the time he puts on the water I would show him too....HAHAHA. And if I whined as much as him, well, HEHEHEHEHE. It's too cold...... ;D And if he only had 1/2 of my responsibilities I have. HEHEHEHE. Let's see who would out fish me know.  ;D

Well, I got out today on a private local pond and reef'd'em. Here is the only LMB caught today.  ;D

And a nice little 10 3/4" crappie.  ;)

And man!, I had a blast with my jig pole today.  ;D

Best day ever with the jig pole.  ;) ice'd 6 crappie out of the same hole.  :D
And we fished from 8a-noon, and ended up with 15 crappie and 2 perch.  ;D

Man, what a DAY!,  :P and a hour of fillet'n.  ;)

camofish... you will catch more fish on a jig pole than ever before with just tipups. You will definitely love it!
By the way, those crappie have great colors!
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.

Awesome crappies camo.  Methinks I recognize the lake from the pics.  ;)  No bluegills or anything just crappie and some perch ???.  If that's the lake I'm thinking about it seems like it has lots of crappies that are under the 9" regulation.
MMMMMM, good, gone to have fish tonight.  ;D never targeted crappies, didn't know that reg.  ??? now I know, thanks, trying to make me fell guilty.  :( nope, and they are all legal, and that's the story, and I'm sticking to it.  ;)
Slipbob, what to hook up Monday somewhere on the ice?  ???
So we can play with your cool toys, watch some TV and play video games.  ;)

Yeah the NY minumum size for cali's is 9" but anyway all those fish were more than that so no problem.  ;)  Monday's no fun day for me.  Gotta work.  :'(  I had my aquaview on the lake New Year's eve and if it's the same lake you were at catching those crappies I must add I saw a group of crappies come through and one had to be 16" or 17".  It was like a halibut and swimming with a couple 10"ers of which I caught one and it dwarfed em but of course the monster didn't bite.  The aquaview is fun, fun, fun with panfish.  First watch the vex and see one coming in then switch your gaze to the camera for the kill.   ;D   I eventually have some vacation time coming and can do the weekday slay.
Cool, will stay in touch and days off are mon.-wen. till Feb. then thrus.-fri. will hook up soon, come on king, time to freeze.  :D

I forgot to put this beautie up in my pictures.

MMMMMMMM, well for my buddy, yes,  :) I gave this one away.  :-\
But, the following week I got my share of crappie.  ;)
First eye on the ice for me, this year.  ;D
Almost lost her, too. The hook came out when the head was out of the hole.  :P At the second the hook flew out I went in the hole to death grip her and threw her on the ice.  ;D My buddy saw the whole thing and couldn't believe his eyes  :o . I told him that if it came down to losing a big wally  :'( or having a wet sleeve  :-\ , I'd go up to my elbow and have a wet arm or sleeve, any day.  ;)

Nice walleye CF. You are on a tear this year. I am going up north to Montana in less than a month to catch some Ft. Peck Reservoir monsters. Nothing like somebody elses success to really give you that flag chasing itch. Great job CF. Keep the pictures coming.

Got out with Deposit today, he ended up with a nice 20" pickeral for the tourney and some nice perch. I had my hand full with the crappie again.

This is what we ended up with, not a bad day, one of Deposits best day.
The jig pole was tight lined most the day.  ;D
Fish on!

lets go NY guys, need some fish in the tourney.  ;D yea, the wind was fun up the creek today. thinking of hitting it again tomorrow, close to the house.  ;) the holes were freezing up quick today, jigging was colder, hanging around in the shanty, waiting for flags.  run, Fish On!
