Bluegill Jigs ?

 Which jigs does everyone like horizontal or vertical, and why???

i only use horizontal jigs for blue gill-i like the white glow fatboy tipped with a wax worm.
i get a nice kicking action on the waxworm when i pound a horizontal jig and it seems its easyer to hook light biteing gills with rhe hook position on a horizontal

I agree 100% with Icefinger. I have used vertical jigs before, but lately have switched to horizontal jigs. I believe that the action is better than vertical, and the hooking percentages are better. I tightline, and prefer a heavy-fishing jig that gives me the freedom of feeling the bite, instead of seeing it.
