HOW LONG.....

How long do you guys wait before you recharge your flasher batteries? I know you are supposed to wait until they reach room temperature and after a full day on the ice I am guessing that can take a while to happen. I usually wait until the next morning to recharge it, and I was not sure if these batteries have a "memory" or not and was wondering if that hurts it waiting that long to recharge. I have two of them so if I can get out a couple of days in a row I can use one, and have the other on the charger so I ALWAYS have a fresh battery and can hit the ice! Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

i recharge mine after every trip no matter what :tipup:still have to buy a new one every couple years mine takes a beating

recharge them after every use plus i put by a register vent to thaw/dry out as well

I usually get home and put it inside right away.  I then usually eat dinner, clean fish, put equipment away, etc.  After I get that done I figure it is warmed up enough to through on the charger.  I have not had any issues and the battery is going strong after 3 years.

Take it in,leave on, and then next day turn it off and charge.

i fish sun up to sundown alot so when i get home i take my vex inside and let it warm up  a few hours then recharge till my charger turns green then its ready to go the next time.so far got 4 years of use out of the battery.basically what everybody else does.

first thing i do when i get home is put it on the charger down in the shop, even left it there a couple weeks ago instead of taking it fishin......  Talk about a handicapped feeling.
