New Hub
« on: Dec 26, 2012, 08:12 AM »
I am looking to purchase a hub for the first time and wanting input from people who use them.   I am not going to use often only for family outings.   I like the clam six pack 1660 but wish that it would be thermal.   The older command post is thermal and I believe cheaper so that makes me wonder about quality.   Never owned anything other than my clam explorer.   Any input is appreciated!

I don't think they hold as many people as advertised.  I own a Clam Base Camp(3-4 anglers), two full grown men and gear is all it holds comfortably.

I have a Base camp thermal and it's great for 2 fishing and maybe another just visiting.  Bought a Big Foot 4000  this fall for when there are more than 2 of us fishing. I have not fished in it yet have had it set up and it's nice and roomy. Sets up as easy as the base camp.
