Title: New shanty

Finally got the pop-up shanty out yesterday. 13” of ice and only 4” of snow on top it was smooth sailing. By the time we got lines in the water it was 10:00. We missed the bite , only 1 small mouth was caught.
I brought my tools so I installed a cook stove cabinet, wood stove and drilled a hole through the wall for the stove pipe. The frige is perfect for wood storage.

I wasn’t happy with the taste of skunk. I went out this am and caught 1 brook trout and 5 pickerel. I’m hoping for a better outing next time!

That's quite a cabni Wayne. After talking to you I may take you up on the offer, especially if I get thrown out by the boss.

I hear you wood chip. We will watch the forecast later in the season then plan the exit strategy. For now going to enjoy it, also have a 8x10 on another pond.

  Nice shack.  Losing a day of fishing because of putting out the shack or taking it off is one of the reasons my buddy and I stopped putting one out.  Seeing yours makes me miss having one though.
