Nice Brown on Waterbury

Finally lived up to my handle, iced a nice 5lb 25" brownie after a 12-15 min battle.  Post a pic soon.  The thing had holeophobia big time. action was good.  People next to us iced 3 smaller browns. Hopefully the ice firms up this weekend be careful lots of drivers out there this weekend on 10-12 inches of ice.  Got a report from lemdawg they had to shut down because of the rain so it's sure to be sketchy getting on.  Be safe and good luck everyone. Finally, thought I resized it, but oh well at least its up and I don't feel like such a moron.  We split the job bringing it in, I was first on flag and called the nephew over, He pulled it to the hole a couple times and when I saw the size of it my jaw dropped.  He couldn't turn him up the hole so I battled him for another 8 minutes or so and finally got him up the hole.  Had a belly full of smelt and a couple ripped off shiners.  Biggest Brown out of Waterbury for me. Looking forward to going out this weekend.  J
