I received a nice surprise today. I got on Cabelas site to order my shuttle.
There it was, roughly $ 30.00 off...Free shipping to boot...

Hope it lasts longer than mine. 1 year and 3 months and the battery is going bad. It will only last about 7 hours. But hasn’t completely quit yet. Marcum wants 140.00 to replace it since you have to send it in. I’m going with a ProPac 2 I love my Shuttle but I can’t see having 390.00 invested in it.

Probably just a random defective battery I’m sure. I took it apart and measured the battery and our Battery Plus said it’s an exclusive size probably just for Marcum. Because it would be easy just to replace myself.

Man, I really hate to hear that for you Ranger.
I have been running Marcums every since the LX5 came out. Had to send it in for a new motor (after a few years) and they covered it all. Shipping as well.
Their customer service was amazing.
They are a lot bigger company now and growing. Things seem to change when that happens...
My LX6 has preformed flawlessly for the 3 or 4 years that I have had it.
I had my shuttle out for an overnight trip and came home showing 24% battery power.  So far so good.
