Seen a lot of ice fishing videos ,this one really Rocks. I like the music ,girl dances when a fish gets caught ,even goes bare handed into the ice freezing water to retrieves the fish.....Its good to be alive ,makes me want to go Ice fishing .

Just slayed them, good job man...lot of effort to get good video.
Question on technique....I've used tip ups lots for pike in the past but never for trout. Do you find you get many drops? I was always under the impression that jaw-jacker type rigging was better for set lines and rainbows. Let me hear some discussion.

Absolutely! We've been getting a lot of teasing weather where we get ice starting to build and then the heat waves return and melt it all!

Wow what an awesome video Tay. Ice fishing for trout is something I've always wanted to try. To see your girls progression from being a little apprehensive, to jumping right in and helping, to handling her own fish is impressive and a testament to your teaching abilities. Well done sir, well done. Just having her jump around and be giddy when you as a team land a big one is icing on the cake. It makes us all want to clap our hands right along with her. Keep them coming, you are off to a great start.

Well that is one hell of a comment! Really appreciate it! That was here first go round with fish bigger than perch or crappie and first time on tip ups. So to say the least she's pretty hooked now. This year's goal is to score a pike on a tip up so when she does that an we catch in on video I'm sure you'll be seeing even more dancing out of her

I've never gone on a search for trout but learned recently that a lake nearby has some stocked. This video has increased my interest. Well put together and entertaining to watch!
