Hey Guys,
  I just wanted to say thank you for everything, I'm a prowler on this thread, I do not post much.  One of my goals this year was to catch trout through the ice.  After reading a lot of posts I decided I'd try my hand at catching some through the ice.  I have a private lake 1 mile from my house that holds some decent trout. Today I caught a very beautiful 3lb brown trout, I was super excited. 

Thanks a lot because if people did not post tips and tricks that they have it would be a lot harder to learn how to enjoy catching other species of fish.

Now to catch one jigging through the ice.

I'm laid up this winter with Medical issues, but it is nice to see some pics and dream!!!

I remember my first, it was by jigging. That opened the door for me. I still love catching them as much as that first one. I still think about different things to try and thinker with stuff so see what works or to validate a theory.
