Ice fishing in undershirt

Today's warm front wasn't exactly the weather to run a gun 8 inch holes hand drilled through 2+ feet of solid ice. Spent the afternoon on open ice sweating in my undershirt, then people look at me funny when I tell them ice fishing often feels like I'm in Florida.

Spot should be good until end of season up here, which closes April 1st. Still 2 + feet of solid ice under some grey and lots of slush, but temps dipping cold enough to refreeze it all over weekend.

Nice, gonna be 60 out here by this weekend and above freezing at night, so our ice won't last long, got one last trip planned this weekend.

 Done that a few times in the past down here in SE PA(no ice this year) ....  People would ask me how Florida was due to my tanned face/arms... then look at me funny when I'd say ice fishing
