From the Montana "Peck Large-Eye" there is some speculation on if that fish is from this year or years past. The reason folks are kind of disputting it is all the snow in the photo since they have had nice tempretures like us and folks say there is no snow left on fort peck. With that being said- Big is Big and that is one Pig of a Walleye!!!

On Saturday Feb 6th the ice had about a 1/2 inch of snow. Later in the day, there was standing water, well, blowing water with the wind! All it takes is a skiff of snow to make the ice look like that and that has been happening quite regularly there. I don't know, but it easily could have been this year...
