jaw jacker frozen hole

Any tips on keeping the hole open when using your jaw jackers?

Automatic Fisherman sells an ice bobber that you fill with some sort of solution that won't freeze.  It allows the hole to freeze, but keeps the line from freezing, so the rod can set the hook.

A hole cover from part of a foam yoga mat, cut/modified to fit between the two braces.      ;)2
