Stop by and say HI! I will be there every day of the show.

Do you guys know how difficult it is to spend three days in the icefishing gear mecca without spending your whole years wages!?

Pray for my strength.... ;D

I will take pics for ya.

We will have internet access at the show this year, so you can check in if you wish. Tom and I are working on some ideas to help the folks who cant make it to the show get a little taste. ;)

Tom and I are planning a thread that we will be posting on live from the ice show. Members such as yourself who live much to far away to attend either show will be able to post questions. Tom and I will do our best to get answers with a note pad and a digital camera. Dont miss it, Dec 4-5-6 only.

We will be there Friday.  I work until noon and it is just over an hour drive, so it should work out good.

Last year I got a guy from worked hooked on fishing from a hole.  Last year he bought a Vex, Yukon, heater, power auger, and a 4 wheeler.  This year he said he is getting a Vex Cold Snap suit, and who knows what else we can find at the show.

He is retired.  Works part time as Court Room Security.  Maybe 10hrs a week.  Leaves lots of time for fishing.  He has quite a nice open water rig down on the Mississippi near Wabasha too.

Good luck on stealing his wife.  He is quiet a formidable man.

New member here, and semi new to ice-fishing. Been out in the past, but just really got into it last winter when some friends invited me to go up a couple weekends near Moose Lake, MN.

I plan on checking out the show, and am in the market for a 2-3 man portable. Would I be able to find a good deal at the show?

If you are looking for deals, go on Sunday afternoon.

Everything that an exhibitor sells does not need to be packed up and brought home! ;)

OK guys let me ask.....I live down near Kenosha, Wisconsin.  I've heard about the show in the past but never attended as it's a 6 hour drive.  Is it worth traveling all the way up for it?  Do they have seminars or just vendor areas?  Good deals on new gear?  I might take my Son and scoot up there for a day or 2 just to get away, but I hate to be disappointed.

Not sure on the show quality, but it would be a fun trip for the 2 of you.  There are lots of other things to do in the MSP area.  I'd make the trip with my daughter if the show where your direction.

Kenosha is an easy drive on 94..... unless there is bad weather. You may want to concider that before you leave. I have in laws in Waukeegan, so I have made that drive before.

There are seminars by the big names, I think they do them on the hour. It is a BIG show, really big. Everyone who is anyone is there, along with all the stuff they sell. Think of a very, very large sporting goods store that sells nothing but ice fishing stuff with factory reps on hand for everything.

There are a few off topic booths that sell siding and kitchen products, but very few.

Good!  I wasn't sure about ever making the drive, but if they got a booth with Sham-Wows & Jack LaLane juicers, man, who could resist!  LOL!
