are you kiddin ! ive been killin the crappies this year. this is one of my best seasons in a long time for crappies. pike, not so much.

I went out Friday and caught 2 nice catfish, 3 LM BAss, 5 Crappie and 3 Bluegill. But it rained last night and it's snowing now. The ice was soft on the edges and was good out from shore about 30 ft. THis might be the end of ice fishing this year. I have pics at Webshots.com.

Going to Lake Geneva for the last weekend of pike fishing.  Been doing ok up there nothing fantastic about a flag an hour average...but 24 inch pike has been the smallest.  Gills been biting right at sunset.  12 ft water look for green weeds.

went yesterday...rock creek in iowa..water getting dirty...very slow...went today michelsons..only one there, causeway in thompson  did not fish,4 shanties there...upper spring lake 7 trucks in the parking lot...didnt bring quad dont know if they were doing any good... maybe it will get better before we lose all the ice....

I saw one guy around 5 pm sitting on a bucket at the private pond I've been fishing at. I'd like to get out again, but with rain last weekend and forecast for rain tomorrow, I don't know if it is a risk to go out or not.
