No one seems to be doing any posting. I haven't heard of anything from the Chain. Anyone up there doing any fishing??

I agree....I think that the 50 degree weather and rain put a damper on things but I have heard of guys going out earlier in the week.  Shore was a little iffy but once you got out aways ice was fine.  Good luck.  Anyone want to show a guy how to ice some channels this weekend let me know.  I used to fish for them in my local pond till some jack came for a straight week keeping everything he caught......Man I miss those cats

There is still plenty of ice on the Fox Chain. The gills are hitting and the crappies are hot also. I have been out of town but got some fishing in last week. The ice won't dissappear that fast.

what part of the fox chian are you fishing? how thick is the ice?

The ice is about 10" thick on Channel Lake .Mostly the white soft ice.In the west subs of Chi town there is no ice.
