where is everyone located in illinois. i am currently a resident of lake county il. and was thinking how many of you would be interested in having a get together?

I'm in Des Plaines(Crook County) and would like to get involed in an IceShanty get together. Sundays are my only days to fish.

I am also in Lake County. I am always looking to get together with my Ice Angling brothers. Lindy, I have family in Maine. We heasd out east every summer but always had the urge to go in winter for Ice fishing. I have family in Brunswick and belgrade lakes area. Man I would love to go ice fishing there! Where in Maine did you live?

So whoever is in charge fo an Iceshanty get together just pick a date and place and lets do it!!!!!!!!!!!

I was stationed in Brunswick at the Navy Base there. Awesome fishing all around and not tons of people!!! Im thinking of going for a week or so this winter!

I'm in Algonquin, there is good ice fishing around here if you know where to look for it. I'm just about two hours from Shabbona.

From buda also. tbirdbassr is my brother. We fished shabbona a few years back but did not have much luck. A few dinks, atleast from what we were used to. but may be willing to look into making a trip somewhere.

New guy here, also have never been ice fishing. I am in Bloomington, but would travel for a get together. Sounds like most are from northern part of the state. I could use this as an opportunity to learn from those with experience.
