Never used them, but I have had a couple of bro's tell me they swear by them or something similar.  I have't seen much difference in the catch ratio when I've been out with them.  Let me know if you experiment and it works, we fish some of the same waters.  I'm going to go to finger Sat.  I think.  Monday we are heading up north for Quartz for some Fishing and see if we see some Caribou.

Sure they work!  Teardrop jigs are pretty handy to have in the box when other jigs don't cut the mustard...  I tip them with a couple wax worms, use 2lb. test, and work them very little when fish are lock-jawed.  Good to have as an option....

Have had luck with them both bare and tipped with a little chuck of raw shrimp.

I've had a lot of success with teardrops.  I've been using bright green with much success in four trips so far this season.  I tip it with a small piece of shrimp and just let it drop.  So far it's worked every time.

I've used them for years on the Interior lakes tipped with raw shrimp. Had to switch from cooked to raw years ago because my two boys would eat the cooked stuff when fishing was slow. Those boys are now 24 and 22 and we are headed out to see if they can out fish the "Old Man" this weekend. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on the experienced one (AKA Pops). I'll let you know how it shakes out.
