Title: Tanana Burbot near Fairbanks

Anybody have any suggestions, Cant seem to catch one in the spring, always november or after ice-out.  Want to take advantage of the spawn if its not over already, just no luck.  White fish and all I'm still not having any luck.  Any alaskan fisherman with advice?
