what are some of the best baits to catch some night walleye

I would assume the same baits that work during the day - but I never fished at night for them up here so I really don't if the tactics change at night.  I'm interested to hear what other say though.

on that hand also what bait have people been using for pike and perch and walleye in the day and night....... i havet caught a perch yet this year or walleye and there on the camera ive been using minnows,smelts,and beef heart with the smelts on norweigian hooks ive had luck with that but no luck with the minnow or beef heart on a jig head at all

One of my personal favorites is any glow in the dark lure. Flash it with your camera flash right before you drop it down, makes it glow well for awhile. My friend an i the other day also fished tip-ups at night. Just take the glow stick you buy at a buck or two and tie them onto your flags, works well.
