Did you get out to St. Brieux this weekend. I was just wondering how you did. Anyone else hit St. Brieux this weekend?

I never did end up out that way.  We decided to stick close to home because of the cold weather and just went to Blackstrap.  We iced 0 fish, but had fish on the cam all day.  I probably won't be getting out to St Brieux until later in February now, but will keep you posted if I do.

I was up there on Jan. 2nd and 3rd.  We fished the east side towards the middle of the lake.  The bite was not amazing, but it was decent. We caught only perch and 2 jacks.  The most important part though was that we caught fish because the bite has been terrible anywhere else that I've been around Saskatoon.

I usually fish straight out from the boat launch at St. Brieux Park. I think I may be out their Saturday, I am in an old white GMC half ton. What are you driving, maybe I'll run into you

Hey OMOTS, I was there 1030 till 530, driving silver f350 with headache rack. I caught one 3# jack and two small perch (send home to grow). Friend caught 6 medium perch, kind of slow, over near beaver house. How did you do?   T.

We fished the middle of the lake straight out from the launch. I was with my son and his friend and we caught about 150 perch. Brought home about 50, 8 to 13 inches. We also caught 5 pike, 7lbs and down on tip ups, and one walleye. My son had a large ( in the teens) pike on, but lost it at the hole. All in all, it was a good day. Did the CO check you out? I don't even know where the beaver dam is.

Hey, great days fishing. The beaver house is near the south end ( narrows ) on the west side. First time out, we started near the park near town, but caught nothing so moved south with a friend that was in the little red ford car, parked on lake. Maybe I will try again later, good luck   T.

Do you need a skidoo to get out to the perch or can you drive out with a 4x4?

4x4 would be fine.  Or you could simply walk out.

I managed to make it out yesterday.  Fishing was slow for myself, only 1 perch and 3 pike.  The other guys I was with did a little better landing a few more perch and 1 eater pickeral, but overall it was pretty slow.  Maybe I just need to get out on the north end and catch some old man of the sea numbers.

Just my report in the post above you from last weekend, but it wasn't the north end.  If you get out tomorrow on the north end, let me know how you do.
