Marmish Multi-Hook Jigs
« on: Dec 14, 2005, 09:59 AM »
As most of you have seen from past posts..Im a marmish fan...But one thing I have yet to be sold on is there treble or multi-hook lures. They are basic bead lures and I was wondering if anyone else has given them a shot and if so how was your success vs. you normal mamrish lures?

heres a link for those who have not seen them

Its funny you mention that, IJ

I have been sitting here pondering the two I've got right here...I think they will work for perch, aggressive gills and crappies, and most certainly lakers.  I will definitely give them a workover.

They look like something my niece would make in art class, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Don't ask me why but they worked great last season. I figured since I had them let me try them. I dropped the Chort 72 #2 with red center bead down the hole tipped with maggots. I caught lots of perch and wondered if it was the perch or the lure. Changed over to a few other styles/manufacturers and it slowed. Switched back and it picked up. I don't know if it is the red bead, the action or what but it was working.
