If anyone is familiar with the three pines hotel? We will be staying there. I know no one wants give away honey holes! I’m just asking how far a walk to have decent chance to catch a few fish. Or should I look to rent a machine? Agatin my wife and I our first time up. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thnx for your patientice.

Use the search feature on here and spend some time reading past Oneida BS page there's tons of info in it parking, bait shops, restaurants, lures to use, techniques and so on...this time of year around 30' is good starting point and if you don't have gps on your fish finder down load navionics app on your phone it will definitely help you find deep water quickly.. good luck

Stayed there last year. Cheap and close. Lots of noise from room next door. Go to apps get bait and walk out and fish. All the info you need is at apps.

If you walk out of Three Pines you can get to about 20fow in a half mile. 30fow will take a good mile to get to. You should be able to find a decent mix of eyes, yellow and white perch around that 20 foot break if you poke around.

Apps will get you to more structure and deeper water quicker.

Head out of Apps bait on the North shore and look for the crowd.  Don't get too close but they are always out around the buoy line.

I guess the lake isn’t big enough , next time float a spoon over and hook his line , and let the games begin 👍🏻

Lol, now that's funny!

The hardest part of ice fishing is casting!

Early to bed, early to rise
fish all day and make up lies!
