I believe it's go time. Heading up to NHPP area for some early ice trout this weekend. will have a report monday

Thanks Whytie.  Can't believe I missed that.  By this time of year I'm usually on daily webcam watch looking for the first sign of things locking up.   You made my day.

 :thumbsup: Not a problem, been watching it like a hawk since we dipped back into the negatives. Already pre planning an early ice trip to Tobin if the weather stays this cold.

Blackstrap frozen over. Checked last night, 2+ inches of ice. I checked to about 50' off shore.

Spent the weekend targeting brookies in NHPP. Ended up
With 9 nice ones between us. Saw lots of fish in 4-6 fow,Ice was 3-4" and A lot of snow in the area should have taken sleds instead Of quads. A great start to the season.

4" north of spiritwood. Lots of brookies and lost one if the biggest rainbows I've ever had on the line.
