Lake Memphremagog

Had booked a house on the lake for March 2nd. Does anybody know the ice thickness? Anyone that is familiar with the area do you think the ice will hold up until my trip. Not looking to drive on just need to walk on.

30+" now. I'm sure the ice will be fine. It won't stay warm forever

Thanks guys! Any tips you would like to share for the lake?

I've fished water in Connecticut for Pike perch Bass Etc.

House is on the west side. Using the tracker on the navtronics app it appears it starts to drop off about a hundred yards offshore. Goes from 8
to about 20 feet. There are some deeper holes about a third of a mile out. About what depth would you set up?

Coming up from Connecticut would be cool to catch a lake trout as we have none here. Going to have about 20 tip-ups out wondering how you would set your spread.

Would like to target bigger fish but would be happy just to catch some yellow perch and bass

For example would you put 5 for pike 5 for lake trout 10 for smaller fish or vice versa?

Also was wondering if it's worth setting up at night for walleye?

Half for pike, half for lakers. You'll catch any fish in the lake.

Thx for input. I've never tried for Lakers before do I need to venture out to the deep drops? after a couple hundred yards it drops to about 15 feet but about four tenths of a mile away there are holes down the 40 50 ft

Worth the walk? We are staying where the blue circle is. Any advice on where to go would be much appreciated only have about a day and a half of fishing time.

Dons rock is on the east side of the lake.
There's plenty of good fishing there too.
Not off shore but 3-400 yards out, like what NEK sportsman said half for pike other half for trout don't be afraid to set lines in shallow water near drop offs.
Then hole hop for perch.

If you can find that 50' hole that would be a good spot for trout/salmon.

no need for half trout and half pike, if u can get smelt.  put bait around 12-16 ft if its over 20 feet, will get hits from both.
