Bomoseen ice report

Can some give me an ice report, coming up next week for Benson derby and not sure if we will be driving out on ice or should bring quads

With the warm weather coming up I would suggest quads but haven’t been to bomo yet. Gonna go this weekend and will let ya know what’s out ther

We had around 17 inches of good ice with over a foot of snow on it last weekend.  The snow is in the process of melting.  I can post a better report after Sunday.

Any new updates on Bono ice conditions

Well it is 65 right now.   The snow is a slushy messy on the ice and there is water running down some old holes.  So there is a danger of old holes growing and then thin ice forming.  We might have a bit of new snow on the lake this weekend so in theory there could be a few hidden surprises.   That being said I have not seen any holes growing.

The ice is still good by the shoreline but I did not check either of the two boat accesses.

I am unaware of us having any pressure cracks yet.   

I think people will drive their trucks on this weekend, but I won't.

thanks for the update Bomobrown, makes more sense to me to just use Quads and leave truck on shore for the weekend
