Queechy Lake
« on: Feb 10, 2018, 07:21 PM »
I drive by Queechy all the time when i'm going deer hunting down Mass, but never fished it. I hear there's some nice trout and crappie in there.  Wanna try ice fishing it. Anyone ever ice fished it? Any suggestions on where to find trout in the lake? Thanks

Start shallow and work your way out to deeper water. I’ve caught them in less then 10ft and all the way out in 40ft. Very the depths you fish to try to locate them

by vary depths do you mean as in total water depth or depth off the bottom with bait? i know every says trout like deeper water but a fish will go where it wants.lol. i figured i'd find a steep break and run my tip ups down them.
