Battery: When to charge?

I have a new Ice-45 that I've been out with 4 x times now this season.
Fished 4-5hrs each outing.
After the first outing but was at 95%
After second outing was at 90%
Didn't check the third day.
After fourth outing it was at 70%

I've head guys say they charge after every outing (?)

Is it true that these types of batteries don't like to be depleted, and should be recharged after every use?

AFTER FISHING LET THE BATTERY WARM UP TO ROOM TEMPERTURE ...THEN CHARGE ...CHARGE EACH AND EVERY OUTING AND ONCCE A MONTH IN THE OFF SEASON...ITS LIKE A CAR BATTERY ...ONCE IS GET PAST A CERTAIN LEVEL OF DISCHARGE THE BATTERY BEGINS TO LOSE SOME OF ITS LIFE .

Same reason cars have alternators.

After every use.  If everyone recharged after each use and during the off season, 90 % of negligent battery failures wouldn't happen.
