I saw on Facebook that a guy lost a black and blue camo bag between herricks shoal and the launch yesterday. It had a hat, food, and his medication in it. His name is Justin Delello and his buddy Mark Remington is trying to track it down for him. Just wanted to pass it along on here.

Went out this morning for my first time ever. Morning did not start off too good with the heater not working, minnows spilling all over my flip over. Winds were pretty high this morning to boot. And to top it off no fish between me and my fishing partner.

Hey octaine. I made my maiden voyage to Chaumont a few weeks back. No shanty rentals on Chaumont. There is a guy at Guffins bay marina that has a tiny shack he rents but he puts it on guffins. We didn’t fish that bay but heard it’s good for pike and perch. He will drive u in and out but only in Guffin bay.

There’s anywhere from 13 to 18 inches. Wheelers, sleds, and side by sides everywhere.

. How much snow is on the big bay? Making plains on coming up , not looking for anyone’s honey hole ! It’s five hour drive for me plain on coming up for few days , Lake Erie isn’t ready yet , any info would be nice be safe tight lines

Snow is coming down now, quite a bit in the forcast through tomorrow - time will tell. Big winds too, so likely some drifting as well.

I have made the walk on bare ice and thru some snow ............. it's not that bad but after a three hour ride to get there I want to fish sooner ....LOL

No slush today. Very little snow, easy travel no matter how you do it.

According to people on Facebook, a pickup went thru the pressure crack near long point. We had 2 DEC 4-wheelers fly by us this morning heading in that direction.

That is correct.

2 guys in the vehicle, front of truck went through the crack, both guys got out of truck and a few minutes later it went to the bottom. Recovery company was notified before 11 this morning to make arrangements to get the vehicle.

Three Mile Bay Fire company and Jeff Co. STAR team responded to the incident scene, along with a private individual with an air boat to the scene , DEC and law enforcement and a backup crew from TMBFD responded to the red barn if needed..I spoke to the passenger, they were slightly shaken but otherwise ok...
