Does any one use one on their ride,if so which brand and your thoughts on its accuracy.i have a handheld not real impressed with it.

This year I purchased the Garmin gpsmap 78s with garmin lakeVU hd. I bought it so that way I could have the depth chart while ice fishing and not have to drill holes to check. I have not had it out on the ice yet. However, I did take it out on the open water and compared it to the fish finder readings. I am satisfied with the performance, it is not 100% accurate everywhere, but close enough.

My guide friend uses Navtronics app on his smart phone.
Cost is like $13 for the HD version, but it is very accurate according to him.
I am thinking of downloading it as well.
The down side is you need your phone GPS to work in order to for it to work.
Not sure if GPS feature works 20 miles from nowhere.......

Don't have a smart phone,still have a flip phone,saw a wheeler yesterday with a locator/chart plotter on his handlebars by th time I got around the parking lot he was gone I was going to ask him about it but I was to late
