Recent ice conditions.

Has anyone been out on Missisquoi since the warm up? How about Lappans or St. Albans bay? I'm heading out tomorrow to chase some gators.
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable,
a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

I was at Missisquoi Bay on Tues, Dec 29.  Too windy to fish but I did walk out and cut a hole and measured the ice thickness.   12 solid inches.

Fished Dillenbeck Bay today....so-so for perch, although they were larger. Caught 3 nice bass (all released)  10 inches of solid ice...some snow drifting.
