Title: Valentine's Day treat
Post by: jbritch on Feb 14, 2019, 09:39 AM
Does it look like a heart?  Poor planning on my part; my parsley was all gone and my lemon had mold on it!!  Aaarrgh!  But my girlfriend will eat the whole platter before supper tonight even without any garnishes...  I'm glad to have someone really like the effort it takes to get those perch to this stage.  Think I'll keep a big pike next time.

You're the man! Looks great, and I'm sure she'll love it, but I couldn't get away with perch cocktail with my wife (for Valentines Day). But then again we've been together going on 24 years. So it will be deep fried Maryland soft shell crab with remoulade 'slaw at our house tonight. Gotta keep raising the bar! (Side note; she's great, and does love fried perch tacos!).
