Went on a scouting trip this morning. Found 2 " of ice at one place and 4" on another. Forgot my cleats so didn't stick around. Drilled 2 holes on the 4" to verify. The 2" was easy enough to break through with my 4' Crowbar. Third picture is where I punched through the 2". Every thing is all ice no snow on top. I will be going for real in a few days.
