How do you get around on ice?
« on: Feb 16, 2006, 10:32 AM »
I wondering what you guys use to get around on ice. Here's how I do.

The ride is smooooth. Can't wait to hit the ice again when you have tools like this.

Do you have to wait for ice thicker than a 4 wheeler?  A couple have driven past me this year and they seem to put out more vibrations.

I do only because I want to be extra safe. I don`t want my money at the bottom of the lake. They have a larger foot print than a tire so I would think you could go on the same amount of ice because the weight is distributed more than a tire would be.

Taxi, that`s hilarious!!! I think it's a bit too fast for me. My machine is a Polaris 800EFI with the Prospector Track System. Just a tap of the key and she starts. Gotta love that.

I'm not sure you would find anyone on the ice crazy enough to ask. If you did you could always tell em it is a power fish scaler. ;) >:D

I was just driving by a guy house yesterday and seen 4 or 5 old riders he had and i made a comment in front of my wife :-[
She said why do you need another lawn tractor(i allready have a quad).
Anyway the lawn tractor is a good idea, no laws helmets registration insurance or tickets for who knows what.
