Beaver Dam Tip-up Factory

Stopped in the Arctic Fisherman the other day and picked up my tip-ups.  I got them repacked.  The young fellow in the front office was nice enough to show me around the place.  I really didn't know before that these are all hand tooled and assembled.  They still do make them like they used to.  Awesome, can't wait to start fishing!

They are very nice people and proud of what they build. I sent my oldest 3 tipups in to be rebuilt for the first time and they came back promptly, relubed and new flags. Good for another twenty years and the cost was minimal. I think the UPS was more than the work. Nice to see good stuff made right here in the USA.

When I lived in Beaver Dam I used to go to church right next door to the company.  There were many a sermon I drift from while thinking of all the tip-ups one door down.  The sad thing is that I never went inside their shop.  I never had any problems with my tip ups.
