Lake Simcoe Ontario shore fishing

went to Barrie marina to do some dock fishing :tipup: no ice :'( hoping for some.
took the aqua vu and dvr with me ;D

I really enjoyed your video.  My fishing partner and I would like to fish Simcoe for a few days through the ice.  We are both retired, and would like to use our own equipment, tents and quad, rather than rent.  We would expect to rent a motel.  Any suggestions on where to stay and fish???  We would like to run with the quad right from the motel out to the fishing area.  deerjohn
