I have not ran out of juice yet. I got two batteries with the unit. I keep one in my pocket so it stays warm.

I see quite a few going with the Milwaukee Fuel. The K-Drill auger inudes it in its package. It will be my choice when I convert to an electric, no one I've fished with has had any battery issues fwiw.

Has anyone ever used the K-Drill itself?  I am debating on if I should go the electric route over a cordless drill.

I'm a lineman by trade.  I have seen a lot of cordless drills chewed up, battery issues, on and on.  We use these drills for a lot of different tasks, but the toughest on all of them has been drilling holes in power poles.  With that said. The 20 volt DEWALT lithium battery drills have hung the best abuse wise and battery wise so far.  There is always bigger badder and better out there.  We just got a Milwaukee and I cannot say much for it yet.  But so far it is looking to run along side of the DEWALT.
