that is a good question, i have eaten both and both were from south pond[rt28,hamilton co.]
I could not tell the differents,but that is me[may have bad taste buds]

More like laker than brookie but prepared correctly either can be tasty.depending on size and body of water they can still posess a large quantity of bioaccumulated toxins just like lakers.
