Fished Winchester Thursday/Friday just a couple of pickerel. Any reports? Awful quiet up there.

Fished today 7-4, 2 small pike. We had one good bite on a 8 inch sucker, ran off a lot of line and was on for a minute.  Pretty quiet.

was there Friday in front of first cove all day not sure if you guys were the folks we talked with, but yes it was tough going. had a dead sucker going too but not even line pull. one dart and a giant bullhead of all things. met a guy who set up next to us that set up a huge jigging area with a aquaview but he said they only followed up 2 feet and refused to bite. not sure if no sun had something to do with it but both fish came as soon as the sun came out for a few minutes. anyway highland is ready so hitting that this Fri/Sat. was able to donate a new pair of 9/10 HT cleats that I bought the nite before but were too small glad someone was able to use em

As I was leaving a local guy was hanging out by the ramp, nice guy, he found your cleats and was taken aback by your gesture. He was going to give them to his son, he very much wanted to thank the fisherman who left them.
