Came off the lake at noon to put 175# of sausage in the smokehouse.

Staying inside where it is warm!  -40 windchill this morning and for tomorrow.  Probably nearly 2 feet of of ice here, but the cold temps should help freeze the overflow created by the weight of the last snow.  Spent some time in the shop this afternoon looking over the snow machine, sorting jigs, getting things ready to go out again when it warms a bit.

I worked. Walked around 15 miles delivering mail while walking through about 8 inches of snow. It's like walking that far wearing 10 pound ankle weights on each leg. I'll feel it tomorrow and I'm in pretty good shape.

Transferred firewood for my in-house woodstove stockpile plus other chores around the house and yard. Will tune in to the AFC Championship game on TV this afternoon as my son & his girlfriend drove down to Kansas City to visit friends and cheer on the Chiefs live.

Had work this morning then went driving around checking out the metro

Dug the truck and car out and snowblew the rest of the driveway. Then I showed my 9yo.  granddaughter how to make homemade bread. Still waiting on that to rise. Inside day today.
